Galvanised Steel Sheds
Please be aware that when a shed is advertised as ‘Galvanised’ there are 2 methods of galvanising, with vastly different results.
The two methods of galvanising are Hot Dipped Galvanising and Electro-Galvanising.
The hot dip method is far more effective and only hot dipped galvanised steel can provide you with the durability and confidence of a 15 or even a 20 year non-perforation guarantee. Most electro-galvanised sheds carry a guarantee of ten years or less and we see many electro-galvanised sheds deteriorating in less than half that time.
Canberra Steel Sheds - Security
The Canberra Pent Shed offers vertical steel door panels which reinforces the strength making it considerably stronger than the single sheet door of a standard model. Lower spec steel sheds will often have weaker gables, which could be a problem if heavy snow is experienced.
Plastic Door handles will become brittle and deteriorate over the course of a few years exposure, where as steel handles will remain sturdy and functional for the duration.
