Canberra Metal Shed

Canberra metal sheds are the highest specification lightweight metal garden sheds in the market. Apart from the high grade of steel and paint finish, they have ventilated gables and all standard buildings have the tallest wall height, allowing you to walk into your shed without having to duck down, unlike other premium sheds. You can stand up all your tall garden products such as rakes and hoes. Each Canberra premium garden shed is manufactured from high tensile, hot-dipped galvanised steel throughout, finished with 3 coats of paint.

These sheds are the perfect solution for your garden storage needs at a highly competitive price. Canberra sheds are perfect for caravan parks where non-combustible storage sheds are compulsory and will provide a rust-free, durable storage solution for a minimum warranty period of 20 years. There are a variety of styles and choices available within this range such as apex roof sheds, flat roof sheds, pent roof sheds and lean-to sheds. Most of these options vary in their style of door, to provide customers with the maximal storage area available within each individual garden shed.

There is a wide range of accessories available and the strength of the frame allows a choice of shelving to be screwed to the structure.

Considerations When Buying A Metal Shed

  • Nominal model sizes are based on the roof dimensions.
  • Please refer to the exact measurements for the precise building dimensions.
  • Full details on preparing a base for all buildings will be sent prior to the unit being delivered.

  • BASE REQUIREMENTS FOR SHEDS

All steel sheds must be anchored to a firm foundation to protect against wind damage. Please click here to view this information. We can supply a Timber base or a Foundation Kit, which you can purchase with your product.

Should I Buy A Timber Base Or A Foundation Kit For My Metal Shed? What’s The Difference?

  • All shed bases should be constructed on level ground with a damp proof membrane.
  • The timber base allows you to construct a wooden floor (using the instructions provided), place it on your level ground over your damp proof membrane and attach the shed to it. This is a quick, simple and cost effective solution to a garden shed base.
  • A foundation kit forms a steel grid over your damp proof membrane, allowing you either to fill with concrete or cover with marine ply to create an internal floor.
  • Both base options are ideal for steel buildings, however if you have an existing concrete or slab base with a damp proof membrane, you will not require either option.

  • Canberra Shed Range Features

All Canberra Sheds are manufactured with this panel profile. These panels are manufactured from hot-dipped galvanised steel and range from 0.25-0.3mm in thickness.

These uniquely designed gables keep air circulating, which reduces the amount of condensation experienced within the shed. Each Canberra gable roofed metal shed has this feature as standard.

All sliding door sheds feature this wide entry and exit ramp. The steel used to manufacture the base rails is 0.55-0.7mm, which allows items to be rolled over the entry & exit ramp without causing damage.

Each hinge door Shed allows good access through the door without losing any of the vital outdoor storage space individuals require. A padbolt is provided with every hinge door.
